خلاصه داستان : داستان آن دربارهٔ همکاری یک استاد تاریخ نظامی با یک صاحب فروشگاه عتیقه‌جات برای یافتن صاحب اصلی یک یونیفرم تاریخی از جنگ جهانی دوم و نامه‌های عاشقانه‌ای است که در جیب‌های آن پیدا می‌کنند. این فیلم توسط مایک رول کارگردانی شده و بازیگرانی همچون جیل واگنر و پل گرین در آن به ایفای نقش پرداخته‌اند.

Retired military officer, now Military History professor, Caroline Upton is enlisted to assist antiques store owner, Russell Carlisle in finding the family of WWII Army officer Orin Newton before Christmas with the hope of returning precious personal artifacts – Orin’s dress uniform, medals, and a stack of love letters from his beloved Alice who waits for him back home. Epaulettes and insignia provide initial clues, though the search seems to dead end when Caroline discovers Orin was captured and listed as MIA. Caroline and Russell then search the love letters for clues as to what happened to Orin and whether he ever made it home to Alice.

New friends Erin and Alex discover a mutual attraction that neither of them have ever felt before. While Alex tries to navigate her feelings, Erin refuses to acknowledge that she might be gay and heads down a path of self-destruction. Faced with Erin's denial, Alex must decide whether to follow her own path, or fight for the first person she's ever loved.
